This study understands “air pocket” as a space that emerges and continues outside purely economic logic, through the gift and return
of space among different actors. Focusing on K77 in former East Berlin, it examines how a self-managed living and cultural space could
arise specifically in the post-socialist urban condition shaped by the collapse of state socialism, restitution, and the temporary
suspension of established property order. By tracing how the granting of use, repair, collective maintenance, and openness to others
are woven together, the study explores the formation and continuity of such spaces.
本研究では、「エアーポケット」を、純粋な経済合理性の外部で、異なる主体のあいだの空間の贈与と返礼によって成立し継続する場として捉えています。
対象とするのは、旧社会主義圏である東ベルリンにおいて生まれた自主管理型の居住・文化拠点 K77 です。国家社会主義の崩壊、土地返還、所有秩序の揺らぎという、
東ベルリン特有の都市条件のなかで、なぜそのような場が発生しえたのかを問いつつ、利用権の付与、修繕、共同管理、他者への開放がどのように織り重なり、
空間の成立と継続を支えているのかを明らかにします。
